Thanksgiving!

Hey all!
Sorry I haven't posted lately...I wasn't sure if anyone was out there reading my blog or not...so I kind of stopped posting for a little bit...but I decided to come back. :)

For thanksgiving we headed to my parents and spent it with my family, Laura's fiance Brian (yes, she got engaged Mon (or tuesday...one of those days), His parents and brother Bradley, and Richard's girlfriend Bryxton ( I have no clue how to spell that. :) Oh dear!). It was a fun day, full of LOTS of cooking, lots of yummy food, and some fun times!!

We cooked so much we steamed up the back door...it was toasty warm in that house!!!

The Turkey was delicious!!

As were the sweet potatoes (or were they yams...)

I worked hard and made two lemon meringues from scratch. I hadn't made one since Court and I were dating...so I was a little nervous but it turned out pretty good. Although I thought it was a little too sweet.

All in all it was a pretty good thanksgiving!! I took pictures for Laura and Brian and for Mom and Dad...I will have to get those up on here as well!! :) Hope you had a good Thanksgiving!!

Leave a comment and tell us what you did! And what your favourite dish was!! :)

more cute pics from our hair photo shoot

Oh, and in case you were wondering we normally go with the last hairstyle...which we call porcupine. :) Although it is basically just spiked hair all over...as you can tell it turns into curls...and since Sammy's hair is naturally curly....perfect hairstyle.

The reason there are no pictures of Jakers is because my camera was full. I do have a couple on my other camera. I just haven't put them on here yet!! :)

Nannies

Reason number one that you shouldn't hire a nanny...

Because they might decide to try out some new hairstyles on your child. :) You never know!!

And that child probably won't have any fun (nope not at all), it will probably just seem like torture to them. :)

Don't worry no children were harmed in the making of these photos.

pretty trees...

While the boys napped in the car I drove around and snapped a couple of pictures.
For example the car in the previous post, some marina pictures, and then these trees.

Pretty, aren't they!!

car love

Do you think this car looks photogenic?

I do!! :) It's not a cool car in person (at least for me) but it sure looks cool in photos...I think

Aren't  they adorable!

Other things toddlers enjoy...

Hamming for the camera...but only when they feel like it.

Oh, and playing in closets.

Sorry that so many posts lately have been about the boys, but yeah. :) Maybe someday something exciting will happen in my life that I can blog about...that won't include the boys. :p

Things two year olds enjoy...

Wearing shoes that are WAY to big for them. :) Sam LOVES stomping around the house in momma's high heels. Silly toddlers

I think...

that I may

Love this giraffe...

I mean isn't it the cutest little toy?!
:) Call me crazy but I like it!!... a lot!

Eeping...

You are probably all wondering what eeping is. :) Well, in the Gomez/Sallee household it can mean either tickling or hitting. Sometime this summer or spring Jack began following Sam around with a grin on a face saying, "Eep, Eep, Eep, Eep.." as he hit or tickled Sam and as Sam tried getting away while saying, "No 'Gack'! No Eeping."

Well, eeping dissapeared (for the most part) and now Jack just tickles his brother. Which his brother doesn't like...well as long as it's his brother doing it. If I am doing it...then it's a totally different story.

As you can see though, Jack REALLY likes, eeping/tickling.
Anyways, today in Target Sam was soooo funny. In a very serious voice he proclaimed (out of the blue), "Tickling, Eeping, nooooot fun." "Eeping, Tickling, noooot fun." Haha. It was pretty funny (although after the millionth time it did get kind of annoying.)
 :)
